The Mustard Seed

Mrs. Nora Nakabugo Mukiibi, a trained Nurse /Midwife at Mengo Hospital, has a heart for the people in the surrounding areas. Of their generation, brothers and sisters, she is the only one left near the Clinic. She is now 91 years and has told me now and again that her strength to walk there is little. But she still oversees much of what is going on. She would walk miles to supervise the building, and a day to day activities. She worked with the Medical Personnel sent there.

Unfortunately, the little we had managed to bring it to a recognised operating medical facility with a few beds, a microscope for blood samples, a stethoscope, and others, disappeared with the last personnel there.

Nora's is asking you all to make this dream come true while she is here. Like the Mustard seed that is so little, yet grows into a large tree that creates a big shade and home to many birds, as well many more seeds, this is their dream. Its come a long way since. But nothing of substance or value is formed overnight.
